All Student Community Drop-in with Dr. Yousef

Join Tareq Yousef, PhD (he/they), on October 21 for an all-student community drop-in.
Dr. Yousef is a queer Egyptian neuroscientist in the Department of Psychology who is hoping to learn about how instructors can support intersectional student communities at UBC Okanagan. Having grown up in public housing and heading to graduate school as a first-generation student, Dr. Yousef wants to hear about how the academic experience could be improved for anyone who feels like they may not belong!

- equity-minded curriculum
- finding community on a university campus
