B.A.R.K. Low Sensory Research Session

June 5 at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)

B.A.R.K. is inviting autistic students at UBCO to take part in a special small-group therapy dog session designed with sensory comfort in mind. These hour-long sessions will be held on June 5 at 6 pm and June 12 at 6 pm and 6:45 pm, with limited spots available.

Following your session, we’ll invite you to share your experience in a short (30-minute) interview within 48 hours. As part of a UBCO-supported research project, your feedback will help us better understand how to create inclusive, calming experiences for neurodivergent students.

Participation in one in-person session (one hour) and one 30-minute interview will earn you a $25 gift card to a cafe!

To sign up, email bark.dogtherapy@ubc.ca or register through SONA.

Organized by: B.A.R.K. (School of Education) And Emotion Dynamics Lab (Department of Psychology)
