Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirement Updates Information Sessions
March 12 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Degree requirements are being updated for the Bachelor of Arts. These revisions create more opportunities for students to explore electives, pursue a minor, and engage in co‑curricular and experiential learning.
The updated structure keeps the degree at 120 credits, but moves 12 credits from required categories into electives. This improves scheduling flexibility and expands the number of choices students have to meet their goals.
Join us at one of two information sessions to learn more about the updated Bachelor of Arts degree requirements and how to transition smoothly.
These sessions are a great opportunity to:
- Learn about the new degree structure
- Ask questions about electives, minors, and experiential learning
- Get guidance on academic planning
Session dates:
- Thursday, March 12 | 2–3 pm (online virtual)
- Monday, March 30 | 8:30–9:30 am (online virtual)
- Monday, April 21 | 2-3 pm (online virtual)
Note: These specific changes do not impact a student’s program major requirements. All current B.A. students who are not planning to graduate this academic year are eligible to move into the new degree requirements.
