Black History Month: The Drag and Ball of it All

February 15 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

In celebration of Black History Month, “The Drag and Ball of it All” event will aim to educate and inform participants about the history and cultural significance of the ballroom scene, and its influence on current popular culture. The event will include various interactive activities such as a moderated conversation, a participatory trivia quiz on the ballroom scene, and potentially a drag performance!

This event will focus on the intersection between Blackness and Queerness by paying homage to the Queer Black folks who have shifted our current music, fashion, and language trends. “The Drag & Ball of it All” is free and open to all.
