Black Student Orientation: Kickback
September 17 at 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for the fourth annual Kickback event in the Courtyard on Thursday, September 17, from 3 to 6 pm.
Hosted by the Black Student Success Program, we are excited to welcome folks to campus! Stop by and mingle with new and returning students, grab a bite to eat and enjoy music, explore resources, play lawn games, and more.
This event is open to all Black-identifying undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and allies.
Kickback is a low-stakes event where participants can engage with campus partners and the community. We encourage folks who are attending, especially those with accessibility concerns or dietary restrictions, to register. This ensures that everyone is able to fully participate.
There are gender-neutral and accessible washrooms in the Commons building close to the event spaces. Participants can expect there to be a higher-than-normal level of noise and it will be busy at times, especially around the lawn games and BBQ area on the field. For a low-noise area, please visit the Black Student Space (COM 121).
