Career Development Week for International Students: Virtual Employer Panel

Get involved in a networking opportunity for students to interact with working professionals. The panelists are community partners within Canada from multiple sectors including; business, arts, science, and engineering.

The panelists will discuss their career paths and share personal best practices and tools that helped them to succeed, as well as what would they want to see from a candidate when it comes to hiring to join your team.

This event will consist of two parts:

1. A panel discussion
2. Informal conversations between students and industry partners in breakout rooms

Career Development Week for International Students is designed to help international students navigate the Canadian job market and to identify workplace expectations while developing intercultural competency.

Participants will be able to build job-search, interview, and networking skills, as well as understand more about the legal requirements for working in Canada.
