OE Week 2025. Illustration of a desk with books camera and other items on it.

Have you ever struggled to afford course materials and textbooks? Are you an instructor passionate about providing accessible education? Share your story and make your voice part of the conversation for change.

Drop by our pop-up on the main floor of the UBCO Library to explore how open education at UBC Okanagan can empower you and help ensure equitable, low- or no-cost access to educational resources for students. UBC Librarians will be available to answer your questions from 9–10 am and the pop-up will be set up for you to explore until 5 pm.

Here’s What’s Brewing at the Event:

  • Explore Open Resources: Check out inspiring examples of open educational resources (OER).
  • Get Involved: Discover exciting ways to dive into open educational practices.
  • Meet the Team: Connect with the passionate Open UBC crew supporting OER creation, adoption, and use.
  • Activities: Share your story by filling out our OER Postcard.
  • Swag Alert: Don’t miss out on handouts, giveaways, and more!

Let’s build a future where education is open and accessible to all—one conversation (and cup of coffee) at a time. Don’t miss out!
