Community Trailblazers: Scavenger Hunt
February 1 at 12:00 am - February 27 at 4:00 pm

Pride Programming and the Black Student Success Program invite you to join us for the 2025 Black History Month Scavenger Hunt!
Across campus you will find ten posters with information about Black, Queer figures. Working in a team or individually, participants are able to work at their own pace, looking for all of the posters in one go or space your search out over the course of the month—whatever works best for you.
In each of the spaces listed below, you will find one numbered poster. They are easily indefinable with have a program card beside them, if you get confused. Each station is numbered (one through ten). Please record the name of the figure associated with the place on the poster (ie: at Student Connect you will write in the correct name of the person on the poster at that location on the Qualtrics). You can submit the form as many times as you want or record responses and submit all at once if you wish.
Participants who submit all ten answers will be entered to win one of three gift basket prizes. A social will be held for all participants on February 27 from 7–8:30 pm in COM 121 to celebrate our wonderful community. All are invited to join!
This scavenger hunt is a self-paced event that students can complete at their own speed. Every space should be accessible, but if you encounter any obstacles, please email pride.ubco@ubc.ca so that we can help resolve them as quickly as possible. Please be aware that some spaces listed below do have operational hours, so that may be a barrier to access on evenings and/or weekends.
