CTL Lunch and Learn: A Conversation with Dr. W. Stephen McNeil & Dr. Riley Petillion

The Centre for Teaching and Learning is excited to announce its second monthly lunch and learn featuring a conversation with Dr. W. Stephen McNeil and Dr. Riley Petillion.
Dr. McNeil and Dr. Petillion will discuss results from two research studies that ran during the pandemic as part of Dr. Petillion’s (recently completed) doctoral research in chemistry education.
Topics include:
- The impacts of instructor practice on student experience with the sudden transition to emergency remote teaching.
- Comparisons of different modes of delivery in an experimental chemistry laboratory.
The lunch and learn is hosted by UBCO’s Associate Provost, Academic Programs, Teaching and Learning, Brad Wuetherick.
