Disability Justice in Community Engagement and Participatory Research: Part 2

January 29, 2026 at 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

In this workshop, participants are invited to explore how to practically and creatively incorporate disability justice principles in participatory and community-engaged research. Centring the ten principles of disability justice (DJ) by Sins Invalid, a disability justice-based movement building and performance project, we will engage with different arts-based methods (zines, photo voice, mapping) to practice creating and facilitating more inclusive community spaces and research settings.

This is part two of a two-part series. You are still welcome to join if you missed part one.

This workshop is part of the Research Excellence Workshop Leader Initiative (REWLI). Learn more and see the full list of offerings.
