Hear Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies students compete in the Three Minute Thesis competition.

This event is presented as part of the It’s Creative, It’s Critical—FCCS Research Series.

The 3MT competition showcases students’ innovative research while helping them develop effective presentation and communication skills. Research-based master’s and doctoral students are challenged to present their research in a mere 180 seconds using just one static slide.

3MT is a great opportunity for students to highlight the significance of their research and its impact on the world to a panel of judges and an audience of peers. Not only will students gain valuable presentation experience, they will also learn about the other research happening on our campus.

The It’s Creative, It’s Critical—FCCS Research Series is a chance to hear about current research projects from graduate students and faculty in the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies and learn what’s happening in the Departments of Creative Studies, Languages ​​and World Literatures, and English and Cultural Studies. This lunchtime series offers two brief research talks followed by a discussion period.
