FEELed Lab Five Year Anniversary Celebration
March 27 at 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Join others in the FEELed Lab community for a day of celebration, community and sharing, as we look back on five years of questions, collaborations and contributions to thinking more deeply, joyfully and inclusively about environment and climate on syilx lands.
This is a day of chats, snacks, making-and-doing, and a variety of workshop activities, memories, followed by a keynote conversation with two acclaimed feminist environmental humanities scholars.
Activities will include:
- 9 am to 4 pm: do-it-yourself workshop activities on climate justice and related topics; at least two live drop-in workshops; snacks and convivial hanging out; a slide show and other traces of all of our past projects, collaborations and activities. View the draft schedule of workshops.
- 4 to 6 pm: multibeing eddies in a global churn, a keynote conversation between FEELed Lab Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Sue Reid and globally renowned feminist and queer ecologies scholar Professor Catriona Sandilands. Limited space available for the talk!
About the FEELed Lab
The FEELed Lab is a feminist environmental humanities field research lab, located at the Woodhaven Eco Culture Centre, with the goal of creating a hub for researchers, students and community members who share common interests in environment and sustainability issues, specifically from feminist, queer, anti-colonial and disability justice perspectives. Dr. Astrida Neimanis is the FEELed Lab Director and Canada Research Chair in Feminist Environmental Humanities at UBC Okanagan.
