Frames of Thought: Short Film Screenings + Discussion

June 9 at 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Faculty and students are invited to a curated summer screening of two short films from the Smithsonian Mother Tongue Film Festival Archive.

Each film will be screened and followed by a moderated discussion. Everyone is invited to dissect the theoretical, technical, ethical, political and cultural dimensions of each film. This intimate setting is designed to cultivate dialogue that encourages participation beyond passive viewing and unpack the layered implications of visual storytelling in today’s media landscape. Light refreshments will be served.
