Graduate Student Pilates

Join your Graduate Student Community Facilitators for a Pilates class! 

Take a break from the books and join us for a refreshing Pilates class led by Maria! This session is designed for graduate students looking to recharge, connect with peers, and strengthen both body and mind in a supportive environment. Pilates focuses on core stability, posture and mindful movement—you’ll be guided through exercises that can be adapted to your own pace and ability. All fitness levels welcome—just bring comfortable activewear and a water bottle. Yoga/Pilates mats are supplied, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

It is recommended that you arrive 10 minutes early to this class to get oriented to the space and settle in. When you arrive at the gymnasium, check in with the customer service desk to receive your class pass. Then head to Studio 1 in the lower level of the Hangar, where you can provide your pass to Maria. If this is your first class, let Maria know—she’ll walk you through what to expect and help you set up your mat. Pilates classes are held in a studio space with mirrors and music to support focus and flow.
