Hiking Series with Move U Crew: Mission Creek
Join Recreation’s Move U Crew and members of the SUO executive team in a fall hiking series! For the second hike of the season, Move U Crew will lead a walk/hike at Mission Creek Regional Park.
The main entrance to Mission Creek Regional Park is located near Orchard Park Mall, with a variety of buses that have stops near this location. If you are bussing from UBC Okanagan, you can take either the number 8 or the 97.
Mission Creek Regional Park contains many paths of varying difficulty and length. There are flat, wide paths, stairs and easy to moderate hiking paths. The route we will be taking is approximately 3.5km long and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
This event will run rain or shine. If there is an extreme weather event or poor air quality, this event will be cancelled by 8 am on the morning of the event, and you will be notified by email.
