As part of the festival, Dr. Mi Zhou, from the Sauder School of Business at UBC Vancouver, will present Video Analytics in Business Research. This session will explore how unstructured data, such as video, image, audio, and text, accounts for over 80% of the data held by firms today. Yet only a small fraction is analyzed to generate business insights. In this talk, Dr. Mi Zhou will present her recent research on leveraging video data for business insights.
