Dr. Margaret Kovach will unpack the concept of reciprocity as it pertains to research that includes, impacts, or relates to Indigenous peoples. Presented by IRSI and the UBC Learning Circle.

How do scholars and institutions engage in respectful, reciprocal relationships with the Indigenous community?  What are the intersections between Indigenous ways of knowing and ethical approaches to collaborative research? How might researchers engender an ethos of ethical engagement when conducting research with Indigenous communities partners?
