Inclusive & Engaging User Study Design: From Recruitment to Retention

November 21 at 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

If you are conducting user studies involving digital tools, interactive systems, or emerging technologies, this workshop will help you design them to be inclusive, accessible, and engaging. We will cover strategies for recruiting diverse participants, reducing barriers, and sustaining motivation. Through case examples and interactive activities, you will leave with checklists, plain-language consent templates, and a participant-experience plan ready to apply in your own research.

This workshop is ideal for graduate students and postdocs in engineering, health, education, computer science, and social sciences who conduct human-participant studies. However, all are welcome to attend this workshop.

This workshop is part of the Research Excellence Workshop Leader Initiative (REWLI). Learn more and see the full list of offerings.
