Introduction to LaTeX

October 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Open laptop placed on sofa.

In this in-person workshop, we will go through the basics of using LaTeX(pronounced LAY-tek or LAH-tek): starting from opening an Overleaf account, to creating and building a document that contains formulas, lists, sections, images, and tables.

LaTeX is a tool used to create professional-looking documents. It creates beautifully typeset documents and allows users to efficiently tackle the more complicated parts of typesetting, such as inputting mathematics, creating tables of contents, referencing, and creating bibliographies, and having a consistent layout across all sections.

Suitable for any researcher interested in learning more about LATEX.
