June 13, 2023 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

The International Qualitative Research Network is pleased to host a series of qualitative research methods workshops, June 12-13, 2023. These workshops are open to all students, faculty and community research partners.

Dr. Maria Myan will facilitate the June 13 workshop Introduction to Qualitative Research.

The objective of this in-person workshop is to outline the foundations of qualitative inquiry. It will be rooted in the concept of methodological cohesion and through it, questions and concepts about paradigms, epistemology and ontology, subjectivity, theory, and reflexivity, will be discussed. During this workshop, you will also be invited to “ask the questions that you always wanted to, but were afraid to!”. All faculty, students and researchers are welcome to attend.
