LEGO® Public Build Day

March 28, 2023 at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us on March 28th for a freewheeling day of LEGO® building, snacks, and prizes and presentations by Communications and Rhetoric students about their fourth-year capstone projects.

Students from second year CORH courses have been working on exercises called LEGO® Serious Play, which aims at getting participants to explore using LEGO® to build representations of experience.

Capstone Project Presentations – 12:30-1:25. The CORH capstone projects help students identify effective communication skills and strategies, their projects are multimodal in nature, which allows them to create material for a specific audience type, and build communication skills applicable in diverse professions.

This public build day offers room for all students to participate in building models in LEGO® as an expression of ideas, and a way to de-stress, and a pre-exam, stress-busting event, where students can contribute to a fun and informative day of free building, conversation, and laughter.

This event is free and open to all, no registration is required. Come de-stress with us!

This event is brought to you by students and Instructors of CORH 216 and CORH 499; the Dept. of English and Cultural Studies, and the Communications and Rhetoric (CORH) program.
