Party Hard, Party Safe

March 12 at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

HaRT & SUO Present Party Hard, Party Safe

Ever pre-game so hard you don’t even make it to the party? Long story short, more alcohol/drugs doesn’t mean more fun. Get the experience you want out of partying this St. Patrick’s Day! Stop by to talk to the Harm Reduction Team (HaRT) and learn some safer partying tips.

SUO will be providing “Safe Party Kits” that include electrolytes, ear plugs, a snack, and glow sticks! HART will have information focused on alcohol, party drugs, and safer partying practices, helping students make informed decisions for St. Patrick’s Day parties. We will have naloxone training and fentanyl testing strips available.

Stop by our table in the first floor UNC to get your free safer partying supplies and ask your questions!

Important Update:

“The street drug supply in B.C. is more toxic and unpredictable than ever. Any street drug can be poisoned, not just opioids. It can be hard to know what’s in the substances you’re taking. Even if they came from a source you trust, like a friend or roommate. Even if you only take a little, or if it’s your first time, the risks are real. It’s important to know how to prevent, recognize and respond to an overdose.” Government of British Columbia Canada
