Pipeline In-Line Inspection for Defect Detection

November 28 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Pipelines are critical infrastructure for transporting oil and gas, but defects can compromise their safe operation. Inspection is therefore essential to detect these defects. This workshop is for engineering researchers interested in how buried pipelines are inspected and how defects are quantified. Participants will gain practical experience with data collection, processing, and AI-assisted defect assessment, and learn how sensory measurements can be applied to support engineering decision-making.

This workshop is part of the Research Excellence Workshop Leader Initiative (REWLI). Learn more and see the full list of offerings.
