Place-based Indigenous Engagement Session at Sncewips Heritage Museum

April 24 at 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

The Centre for Teaching and Learning is pleased to offer a place-based Indigenous Engagement session for faculty with Sncewips Heritage Museum.

This is an opportunity to step into and participate in syilx-led cultural programming through witnessing, listening, and learning from and in community. Many of the museum staff are UBC Okanagan alumni and are eager to welcome us!

Sncewips Heritage Museum is located across the William R. Bennet Bridge on Westbank First Nation. We will make efforts to organize carpooling for those who are interested.

Spaces are limited. If you are interested in participating, please register by Monday, April 20, and we will be in touch to confirm your registration. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact jeannine.kuemmerle@ubc.ca .
