Printmaking Demonstration with Briar Craig

April 2, 2022 at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Briar Craig’s exhibition at the Kelowna Art Gallery, titled README, explores the frustration of misconception through a selection of work from our permanent collection.

Craig creates clever wordplay through printmaking using ultra-violet cured ink, shining a light on political rhetoric and everyday phrases. Bold words are superimposed over found objects like magazines and chalkboards, where the letters become game pieces that both entice and create confusion.

As part of this exhibition, guests are invited to an open house on March 10 at UBC Okanagan’s Creative  Studies Department.
