Printmaking Workshop with Edward Fu-Chen Juan

October 14, 2022 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Registration for this event is now closed.

Join us on Friday, October 14 for a hands on printmaking experience with Vancouver based contemporary printmaking artist Edward Fu-Chen Juan. Edward will discuss his artistic practice, demonstrate ink making and work with participants to create their very own silkscreen print. This workshop is a great opportunity to explore the world of printmaking under the guidance of a highly accomplished visual artist.

Edward’s thematic research is to connect traditional technique with contemporary perspective. An aspect of his art practice is to extract ink from indigenous plant specimens in printmaking and papermaking. His works are presented visually with the historical and cultural significance of the material.

The workshop is hosted by UBC Okanagan Gallery. Follow us on Instagram @ubcokanagangallery
