Join the Pride Programmers for community and conversation about Canadian trailblazers Sara Quin and Tegan Quin’s memoir High School.  This book explores the joys and growing pains of sisterhood, creating music, and growing up queer.

Dinner and opportunities to win prizes are included.

Registration is appreciated

Those who register will be emailed a reminder, a brief community agreement, and discussion questions a week in advance of the event.

The book is available at the Okanagan Regional Libraries and at the UBC Okanagan LibraryContent warnings include drug and alcohol use, violence, bullying, homophobia and lesbophobia, and brief suicidality.

Undergraduate and graduate students welcome. Drop in anytime at the Global Collegium. Participants can expect light conversation throughout the event. There are wheelchair accessible, gendered washrooms directly across from the Global Collegium, and there is a wheelchair accessible, all gender single-stall washroom located on the same floor.
