The Public Anthropology Speaker Series invites you to attend Dr. Adia Benton’s discussion about Conjuring Anthropology + Its Publics.

Dr. Benton will discuss ritual exorcism of anthropology’s intellectual forebears, its potential for unsettling the stakes of the production, circulation, and continued relevance of anthropological knowledge.

Dr. Benton is an anthropologist and writer, Associate Professor of Anthropology and African Studies at Northwestern University, and an Affiliate of the Science in Human Culture Program.

All are welcome to attend this free event, but pre-registration is required.
