Public Anthropology Speaker Series: Public Anthropology Approaches to Visualizing Undocumented Migration

The Public Anthropology Speaker Series invites you to attend a presentation by Dr. Jason De León.

Dr. Jason De León is Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles and director of the Undocumented Migration Projecta non-profit that seeks to raise awareness about migration issues, while also helping families of the missing reunite with their loved ones.

In this presentation, Dr. De León discusses the various public facing efforts the Project has undertaken. This includes the participatory exhibition Hostile Terrain 94, a global installation designed to raise awareness about migrant death that is slated to be installed in over 130 locations on six continents.

All are welcome to attend this free event, but pre-registration is required.
