Public Scholars Initiative: Okanagan Information Session

This year, UBC’s flagship scholarship, the Public Scholars Initiative, will be accepting applications from doctoral students at UBCO.
UBC’s Public Scholars enjoy:
- academic support,
- professional development and networking opportunities, and
- up to $20,000 in funding over two years for research expenses and/or stipend.
This year, UBC is looking to add 30-40 more students this year, and some of these spots are now reserved for students from the Okanagan campus.
To aid students with their applications, we will be holding an information session. The session will provide general information about the program as well as strategies to make your application stronger.
