OE Week 2025. Illustration of a desk with books camera and other items on it.

Join us for an interactive workshop where we will take educational resources used within the classroom and make them openly available for use and reuse.

In this session, we will discuss assigning open licenses, assigning metadata, and making your resources shareable in a variety of UBC and non-UBC repositories, databases, and indexes. By the end of the session, you will have shared a resource and have the knowledge to continue the process of making your resources openly available.

To participate in the session, we ask that you bring resources you have created to work on preparing for openly sharing. The resources can include: lesson plans, test and quiz banks, videos, audio, animations, class handouts, presentations, etc.

In advance: Bring a computing device to this event to ensure you can fully participate. Laptops are available to borrow from the Library Service Desk.
