Researcher Drop-Ins with the Centre for Scholarly Communication: Research Cybersecurity and Compliance

Researchers are invited to meet your Okanagan research support team! The Centre for Scholarly Communication (CSC) will be hosting weekly drop-ins to help answer your questions and guide your research.

We all face a daily barrage of news about cybersecurity, this seemingly endless stream of content can lead to fear, confusion and even denial or abstinence from taking even simple preventative measures. There are things everyone can do to be more secure. Join us this week to meet and learn from the Research Cybersecurity and Compliance Team (Scott, Luc, and Jess). At this session, you will learn about the services available from the ARC Research Cybersecurity and Compliance team. This session will dive into our Security Threat Risk Assessment (STRA), System Security Plan (SSP), and consultation services. The team will also provide institutional-policy-agnostic and practical suggestions to support you in protecting yourself and your team within and outside the work environment.
