Starting a Conversation with Madelaine Lekei: Digitally Bound-Following the Threads of Digital Communities

March 24, 2022 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join Master of Arts candidate Madelaine Lekei as she discusses threading community engagement through digital enthnographic research.

Lekei will address questions, such as:

  • How do we bring community engaged methods to digital spaces?
  • How can we approach community when participants are digitally and geographically dispersed?
  • What does it look and feel to work with vulnerability in a pandemic?

Lekei’s research reflects her desire for accessibility and disability justice that disrupts systems and spaces that too often ignore, devalue, and erase non-normative bodies and minds.

Everyone is welcome.
