Student Okanagan Film Festival

The annual Student Okanagan Film Festival continues a tradition of celebrating emerging student filmmakers of the Okanagan Valley.
The festival showcases short films from a wide range of genres, including mini-documentary, experimental, music videos, animation, short narrative and more. This is a great chance for student filmmakers to see their films or videos on a big screen.
This event is open to the public. Admission is by donation, and all proceeds go towards awards, as well as back into the festival programming for future years.
Call for Submissions
Submissions for this festival are being accepted until April 15, 2026. Filmmakers must be registered students in the Okanagan, and the work must be completed in 2025 or 2026.
