Step into the fields with fellow alumni, friends, and community members to harvest fresh vegetables for The Vibrant Veggie and Helen’s Acres—two local organizations helping get nutritious, whole foods into the hands of those who need them most, including through the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank. All you need to take part in this volunteer opportunity is a willingness to pitch in. Enjoy fresh air and the satisfaction of helping support food security and strengthening a more sustainable local food system.
