Established by the Mental Health Commission of Canada, the Working Mind is an evidenced-based training program designed to address and promote mental health and reduce stigma in a workplace setting.

It includes scenario-based applications, custom videos of people with lived experience of mental illness, participant reference guides, and related handouts.

This session is for managers, supervisors and team leads, who will learn:

  • How to support employee mental health and wellbeing;
  • Enable all employees to be more productive;
  • Ensure the workplace climate respects and involves all employees, including those with mental health problems; and
  • Encourages employees to seek help for mental health problems.

This is a two part course, both parts are mandatory. Part 1: January 18, 9 am-12 pm, and Part 2: January 25, 9 am-1 pm.

Facilitated by Amanda Swoboda, Workplace Health and Wellbeing Human Resources.
