Thesis Writing: Abstract and Lay Summary

The College of Graduate Studies requires an abstract and lay summary for theses and dissertations.
As part of the thesis writing workshop series, this hybrid workshop will provide strategies to write the abstract and lay summary. We will discuss examples published in theses from a range of disciplines.
This workshop is suitable for graduate students from all disciplines, and you are encouraged to bring questions. You can choose to attend this workshop online or in-person at COM 311.
