Trans Day of Visibility

Join the Pride Programmers and Pride Resource Centre for community, conversation, and celebration of Trans Day of Visibility.  Drop in any time to explore:

• Trans+ ID clinic information offering trans, two-spirit, and non-binary folks and allies resources on the name and gender change application process in BC (changing name and gender marker changes on provincial and federal documents)
• Free store for gender-affirming clothing provided by the Action for Climate Team’s Free Store and vouchers provided by Plato’s Closet
• Tabling, including campus resources and community groups such as Kelowna Pride and This Space Belongs to You
• Hair and makeup tips and giveaways
• Trans-authored book display curated by the UBCO Library
• Community togetherness and refreshments

This event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff. All are welcome. There are gendered and gender-neutral accessible washrooms available on the first and second floors of the UNC building.

Participants can expect a medium to high level of noise depending on the busyness of the event. Some crowding around tables may occur. Earplugs will be available to all participants.
