UBC Co-op Live Information Session for Indigenous Students

August 30, 2022 at 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

UBC Co-op Programs are committed to encouraging and supporting Indigenous students to participate in co-op and work-integrated learning opportunities through continued supports and strategies to create more equitable, inclusive, and empowering WIL experiences.

UBC Indigenous Co-op Coordinators invite all interested Indigenous students to attend a virtual information session for Applied Science and Interdisciplinary Co-op Programs.

Co-op offers undergraduate students enriched educational experiences through workplace learning in a diversity of organizations. Co-op is a paid opportunity for you to gain employable skills, explore career options, and build a professional network—all before graduation!

During this virtual information session you will:

  • Learn about what Co-op Education is and how it can fit within your degree
  • Find out tips and expectations about the program application
  • Hear from Co-op students as they share their experiences and co-op journeys

Please note that there is only one intake per academic year for Applied Science and Interdisciplinary Co-op Programs.
