Join us for this virtual workshop with Isabel Gomez Velez as part of the Practical Matters Public Humanities Series.

Thinking about concepts, ideas, and problems from different perspectives is key to bringing your research ideas to life. Use creativity to find the best way to connect with your audience.

This Visual Storytelling Workshop will present four steps to uncover meaningful tools to reach new audiences.

About the Speaker

Isabel Gomez Velez is an MA Student in the Digital Arts & Humanities theme in the IGS program at UBCO. She is a Colombian researcher and lecturer of creative thinking and sustainability for design and engineering programs. She also has extensive experience as an instructional designer and experiential educator.

Velez holds a bachelor degree on environmental engineering, a graduate diploma on creative intervention, and a Master in Education, with magna cum laude mention from Universidad de los Andes-Colombia.
