RESCHEDULING – Weeks of Welcome: History of the Lake Walking Tour, with the Okanagan Heritage Museum

Curious about Okanagan Lake, local history, and lore of the area, and an opportunity to connect with your peers? Come join the Community Service Learning Program for the History of the Lake Walking Tour, in partnership with the Okanagan Heritage Museum, and uncover the secrets of Okanagan Lake!

Beginning at the Okanagan Heritage Museum, this guided tour will take us along the shore of the lake. The tour is 1.5km and is wheelchair accessible. The guided tour will dive into the stories that make the lake central to life in Kelowna, and is about 90 minutes in length. We’ll end off the tour with some group discussion about the lake, the Okanagan and some snacks!
