What do we need to know to be prepared for an AI Future?

The Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science invites you to join leading minds in an AI workshop titled “What do we need to know to be prepared for an AI Future?” at Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport.

About the talk

This is a partnership event between UBC Okanagan’s Digital Transparency Cluster and Exeter University, with the aim to equip individuals for an AI-driven future. Panelists will converse on how AI will affect or be affected by digital literacy, education, the next tech discovery, and democratic governance.

The panellists come from diverse backgrounds, including academia, national AI and digital literacy agencies, and the local school district. This is a unique opportunity for participants and fosters future collaborative research projects.

This is a free public event, but we ask that you register your attendance. Lunch will be served.
