Winter Pop-up Free Store

Join the Action for Climate Team (ACT) for our Winter Pop-up Free Store, and refresh your winter wardrobe, while saving money and supporting a circular economy! ACT volunteers have been collecting gently-used donations of warm clothing and household items, and are hosting our Term 1 Pop-up Free Store to distribute those items on Friday, November 28, in the Sawchuk Family Theatre in The Commons.
The Winter Pop-up Free Store is open to anyone, and all items are free.
Stop by Sawchuk Family Theatre between 11 am and 3 pm to browse through the racks, try things on, and take whatever you want or need. ACT volunteers will be there and are happy to help or chat about this initiative.
Have items you’d like to donate? Fantastic, we have several donation boxes for drop off on campus!
They are located in:
- Commons, across from Comma Cafe
- Fipke, first floor—near the staircase
- UNC, first floor—near the main staircase
- EME, first floor—near the tower 1 staircase
- The Gym—across from the front desk
- CCS first floor—near the staircase
