Women in STEM: Pathways to Entrepreneurship

Join us for an inspiring panel discussion exploring entrepreneurship as a career pathway for women in STEM.

Hosted by the UBC Okanagan School of Engineering, in collaboration with ETSI-BC and WeBC, this panel will bring together women entrepreneurs leading STEM-driven businesses to share their career journeys at the intersection of science, technology, innovation, and enterprise.

Panellists will reflect on pivotal moments, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and the success factors that helped shape their paths—offering practical insights and candid perspectives for those interested in turning STEM ideas, research, and expertise into impactful ventures.

The event will provide an opportunity for networking at 4:45 pm, with the panel taking place from 5:30 to 7 pm.

This event is open to all. It will be of particular interest to UBCO students, researchers, faculty, recent graduates, and professionals interested in innovation, commercialization, and expanding how they think about career pathways in STEM.
