Workshop: Inclusive French for Health Care Providers
October 24 at 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

This workshop is facilitated by Amé Simard from the Comité FrancoQueer de l’Ouest (CFQO) and is offered to those who wish to deepen their reflection and explore ways to promote inclusion through health professions. Inclusive language seeks to foster inclusion in all its forms by demystifying 2SLGBTQIA+ identities, promoting the use of neopronouns, and teaching the basics of gender-inclusive writing.
This free workshop is organized by Espaces Francophones, will be delivered in French and is online.
The Zoom link will be sent after you register.
Espaces francophones is a joint initiative between the Okanagan School of Education (OSE) and the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies (FCCS) and aims to create a sense of community amongst UBCO’s French speakers.
