Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory Open House

The Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science would like to extend an invitation to the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory Open House event in Kaleden, BC.
The open house is a free public event hosted by the National Research Council of Canada. This event will feature partnership displays, self-guided tours, presentations, and activities for kids.
No pre-registration is required.
Note: Keeping the zone around the DRAO radio silent is imperative to operations. For this reason, we kindly ask visitors and passers-by to turn off their cell phones, laptops, smart watches, and other connected devices. Please note that activating the ‘airplane mode’ is not sufficient. Additionally, due to the dry conditions, smoking is prohibited in all areas on site. Thank you.
