On Monday, November 4th, 2024, Drs. Kurt Hoskin and Emmanuelle Massie present Healthy Hearts: Risks & Prevention. Registration is required. In-person and virtual options are available. No cost to attend.
Presentation overview
In Canada, heart disease is the second leading cause of death after cancer and a leading cause of hospitalization. Approximately, 1 in 12 Canadian adults live with diagnosed heart disease. Dr. Kurt HoskinDr. Kurt Hoskin is a Kelowna-based cardiologist and Clinical Instructor with the UBC Faculty of Medicine’s Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology. Dr. Hoskin is a Southern Medical Program alumni and completed his residency training in internal medicine and cardiology at UBC. |

Dr. Emmanuelle MassieDr. Emmanuelle Massie is a Kelowna-based cardiologist. She completed her medical degree and residency training in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Montreal. In addition, Dr. Massie completed a fellowship in echocardiography at McGill University and a fellowship in heart failure in Geneva, Switzerland. |
