An Intro to Bayesian Stats with Cats

March 21 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Recent advances in computing power have allowed Bayesian statistics to become more widespread, but Bayesian statistical inference is often not well understood. This workshop will introduce key ideas using discipline-agnostic examples and common language while illustrating how to view the world from a Bayesian perspective (as opposed to the more common Frequentist view, which is based on traditional hypothesis testing). This workshop can be attended in person or online.

This workshop is tailored for those who do not a background in mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative sciences. If you have a background in the above fields, you may wish to register for Introduction to Bayesian Statistics and Bayesian Epistemology.
