2025 Ars Electronica Animation Festival Screening

Join us for a special screening of the 2025 Ars Electronica Animation Festival—a diverse showcase that invites spectators to discover current artistic productions in the field of digital animation.
The 2025 Ars Electronica Festival title PANIC: Yes/No found strong reflections also in several of the awarded works of the Prix Ars Electronica, which share underlying sentiments of doom and unease. This thematic resonance prompted the selection for the On Tour compilation PANIC—Prix Ars Electronica Selection.
This special screening is free and open to all. Registration is required.
This event is presented as part of the SCI_ART: Art, Science and Technology Symposium at UBC Okanagan on October 7 and 8. This two-day symposium is a gathering of international artists who will discuss the state of art, science and technology in today’s ever-changing world, and is presented by the Austrian Embassy Ottawa, the EU Delegation to Canada, UBC Okanagan’s Critical Future Studio/Lab, with support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
