May 13, 2020 at 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

The Centre for Student Involvement and Careers, in partnership with the UBC Hub of Ten Thousand Coffees, is excited to bring you a virtual mentorship and networking opportunity to connect with UBC Alumna, Sharon Sidhu. This event is open to all students.

Sharon currently works with KPMG as a Senior Recruiter supporting the Advisory/Consulting practice. Prior to working with KPMG Sharon spent some time in the financial services sector supporting recruiting for retail banking.

During her office hour, Sharon will discuss her time at UBC, her career path since graduation, and will speak to some of the best practices for job applicants based on her years of experience in HR and Recruitment. She graduated from UBC with a Bachelors in Sociology and has been in the recruiting/HR space since graduation. Outside of the recruitment and HR space, she takes on every opportunity for new learning experiences and exploring new countries (28 countries and counting).
